The Polaroid Collection at Sotheby’s
The New York Times reports Sotheby’s is to offer Photographs from the Polaroid Collection over 1,200 Works Includes Photographs by Ansel Adams, Chuck Close, Lucas Samaras, Robert Frank, William Wegman, and Andy Warhol.
Some pieces of the Polaroid’s auction can be viewed on the NYT’s Lens Blog. The collection was started by Polaroid founder Edwin Land.

Christopher Makos, born in 1948 in Massachussetts/USA and raised in California started to work as a Photographer in the 1970s. He apprenticed with legendary photographer Man Ray in Paris where he originally planned to study architecture.
