Revue 35FC

The Lomo LC-A is so overrated. A good alternative to the Lomo LC-A ? Maybye the “Lomo for students” the Revue 35FC.

Revue 35FC

Baujahr 1983, Verschluss 1/125 Sek., Objektiv: Fixfokus 1:3,5/38 mm.

Welche Technik steckt dahinter ?

Diana Mini
Lomography has just released their latest plasticy camera of joy, the Diana Mini.
The Diana Mini is the ultra-compact, petite version of the Diana F+ camera. The Mini it’s a more practical choice than its big sister the Diana+ because it takes regular 35mm film rather than the awkward 120 format, and you can take both square format photos and half-frame - which gives you twice as many shots per roll.
Multiple exposure, long exposure capabilities. Tripod thread and cable release attachment available.

International Film Buying Day - 1 October
The Flickr “internationalfilmbuyingday” group are organizing a ‘Buy Film Day’ on the 1st October this year.
“I ask all who enjoy shooting on film to go out on the same day, October 1, and buy a roll (or rolls or sheets for that matter!) of film. I’m sure the sudden spike in film sales would be noticed and the industry will realise there is still quite a considerable sized market for film.”

Here comes a new one: the Rollei Redbird 135mm negative film.
In the Rollei Redbird emulsion, the red layer is on top of the others, whereas with other C-41 print films, it is usually the bottom layer.
By controlling shutter speed, the user can control how red his picture is rendered. With slow shutter speed, you can make your picture in different shades of red. With a higher shutter speed it becomes yellowish and greens begin to appear. The Rollei Redbird film has a nominal sensitivity of ISO 400/27°.
