Ikuru Kuwajima, a photojournalist based in Ukraine who has been named the winner of the Fujifilm Distinctions Awards 2009.

My personal favorites; Langjiazi - I was far away be beautiful, Pat Moss - Untitled and Toby Smith - Drax from his recent work Light After Dark. Smith has visited every Power Station in England, shooting at night using long exposures.

As in previous years the Awards has an open brief and is open to any photographer - professional, enthusiast or student.

The only stipulation is that submissions must have been originated on film from Fujifilm’s range of professional or consumer films.

Images are scanned and then submitted via the Distinctions website, http://www.fujifilmdistinctions.co.uk

Close Date: 1st September 2009

Entry Fee: FREE

Prize Details: There are three cash prizes. The overall winner will receive £1,000. The second placed photographer will receive £500 and third place will receive £250.

Eligibility: Any Age, Any Country.
